Address by the RA National Assembly President Galust Sahakyan on Teacher’s Day

“Distinguished teachers,

I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday, Teacher’s Day. This holiday is one of the most beloved holidays of our society, as the teacher has always been respected, appreciated by our people, and we have always treated them with reverence and esteem, has been filled with gratefulness.

The teacher's role is invaluable in the education, upbringing and establishment of the growing generation. Dear teachers, you greatly promote the formation of the future citizen of our society, seed patriotism, humanism, consciousness of responsibility and civil posture together with knowledge with your devoted and caring work.

Dear teachers, you, undoubtedly, deserve higher appreciation and more caring attitude. The most possible is being done by the leadership of the country to improve the conditions of your activity and living, which will be of continuous nature.

However, you have never felt the lack of the following: the society’s unreserved love and respect towards you.

Once again congratulating you, I wish you good health, family happiness and fruitful activity in your work for the benefit of the nation.”
